Dead Wave is out there, has been for about a month. I am releasing it, letting it flow out into the ocean of socialization. I have done all I can with it and I hope she gets around the world in the voyage. I have to look forward and I hope it does well.
I am writing The Red Queen now and I hope that my time spent formatting Dead Wave has taught me enough. I am improving my skills as a writer and author and hope to keep this up for years to come.
I await the answer from Parnassus, a book company in Nashville, TN that supports local authors. I am excited for that but it could take a few months. I have completed my first interview and await its release. I want to thank @mythbatreviews for giving me a chance.
It has become painfully obvious that people are extremely skeptical of Indie Authors. KDP, Kindle Direct Publishing, has been the subject of repeated bashing on Facebook. I am in a few writer groups and it would seem that there is a large population of authors that do NOT like any “self-publishing” authors. I am up for scrutiny, I believe I mixed enough professional editing and help with my own life experience to make it as good as it gets. No matter where you get your book published, there is always the chance of making a mistake. I will not wait in line, I will not stop, I have more faith in myself when it comes to writing than I have had in my entire life. I say, “Bring it on,” I think you will be surprised…
I know tbis if off toppic but I’m looking into
starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is needed to get setup?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100% positive.
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

WordPress, doesn’t cost anything. You pick a way you want it to look and set it up. I did everything here without any professional help. Hope this helps.
